Ryan Construction’s goal for the Health and Safety Program is to ensure our building practices apply Safety 1st in performing construction work. This applies to construction staff, owner employees, patients, and the general public. By creating a safety culture, awareness, and safe practice SOP, Ryan considers protecting every person within or near the construction site. We believe safety on a construction site is a shared responsibility and there must be buy in from all involved. All workers are accountable to ensure that safe practices are followed. Reinforcement of this standard comes from the President down to field employees. Safety must be a primary concern of each person on the project. Our subcontractors and suppliers are held to the same high standards.
Ryan achieves this by providing highly experienced Project Managers and Superintendents to manage our projects. All Project Managers and Superintendents receive 30 hour OSHA training and other employees receive 10 hour OSHA training. Employees continue to receive ongoing safety training in various safety topics throughout the year.
To ensure Ryan achieves this goal and it’s Safety Policies for adhering to the safest building practices, site safety inspections are performed on a regular basis by an in-house safety officer and third party safety consultants, including the ABC Massachusetts Self Insurance Group (SIG) of which Ryan is a member.
Ryan Construction has consistently received both National and Annual Safety Awards from Associated Builders and Contractor’s (ABC).
RYAN CONSTRUCTION HOLDS ANOTHER IN-HOUSE CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING SESSION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES on April 27, 2017.
